I got word from Carolina Fountains that they will start their work early next week. They’re usually a little over optimistic in their start date, so it might be late in the week. The thunderstorms in the forecast through mid-week could also cause some delays.
Their first step will be to drain the lower basin to get access to the pump. Once they can get to the pump, they’ll inspect it for any obvious obstruction and test its operation. If they cannot restore it to working order, they will be sending it to the manufacturer for testing and possible replacement under the warranty. The manufacturer will determine if the failure is covered under warranty.
