Welcome to Waterfall–a beautiful place to call home!
Waterfall gets its name from the beautiful waterfall that adorns the main entrance to our neighborhood. This unique feature coupled with the many beautiful hardwood trees lends a natural woodsy feel to the community.
Waterfall is located between Irmo and Chapin, South Carolina. This puts us about 10-20 minutes from great places to shop and dine, while also giving us quick access to recreational points like Lake Murray and the many beautiful parks in the area. If you enjoy exploring nature, we are not far from the 6.5 mile Peak to Prosperity Passage of the Palmetto Trail. This segment of the trail is rated easy and is a great place for people of all ages to hike or, if you are adventurous, bike.
We have a wonderful mix of singles, couples, families, and retirees that we call neighbors. It is not uncommon to see multiple families out walking, playing, or relaxing by the fire pit together.
Our community features tree- and sidewalk-lined streets and a park equipped with swings, play set, benches, and picnic tables. The natural tree canopy over the park provides a nicely shaded area to enjoy time with friends and family. There is also plenty of room for Frisbee or a game of tag.
Our community is zoned for the award-winning Lexington-Richland School District 5 schools with students attending Lake Murray Elementary School, Chapin Intermediate School, Chapin Middle School, and Chapin High School.
