If you're like me, you've probably gone through a lot of trial and error (and money) trying to find flowers and shrubs that grow well around your house. I thought I'd make a few posts about the flowers and shrubs that have worked well in my yard and hopefully others will share what's worked well for them.

Entrance Lights Update
I returned from vacation this past weekend and learned that the entrance lights were still not operational. Prior to my vacation, we had an electrician out to look at them. He was able to restore power to a few lights, but not others. At the time, it appeared as though we were going in the... Continue Reading →
Please Restrain and Clean Up After Your Pet
The board recently received a complaint from a Waterfall resident who has grown frustrated with cleaning up dog poop in his yard. This problem isn’t isolated to his yard. I’ve observed this in my own front yard from time to time. I’ve also seen lots of evidence of this in the park. If your dog,... Continue Reading →
It was a Great Day for Ice Cream
Thanks to everyone who came out to the ice cream social last Saturday. We had a good turn out. Cold Stone said they served about 80 cups of ice cream. There were a few repeat customers. 🙂 I hope everyone enjoyed the ice cream and the chance to meet some of your neighbors.
Entrance Lights Out
We have an issue with the circuit that supplies power to the lights at the entrance. I’ve asked MJS to have an electrician come out and correct. I have no ETA on the correction. I’ll post something when I know more.

Tara Barnette recently resigned from the board so that she can focus her limited free time on planning social activities for us. Tara is a natural... Continue Reading →

This was a feature of the newsletter that we had not yet added to the website. Visit the services page to see the services provided by your neighbors or to... Continue Reading →
See You at the Ice Cream Social
Looking at the 3 PM radar, it looks like most of the rain showers have moved east of Columbia. We're going ahead with the ice cream social. See you at the park about 4 PM.
Pool
It was recently suggested that we consider building a pool in the park. The topic comes up from time to time and was last investigated 4-5 years ago. We thought we'd ask MJS to provide some updated numbers so we could assess the feasibility of such a project. MJS provided the following rough estimates. $150,000 to build the... Continue Reading →
Update Your Website Update Alerts
If you registered with ChangeDetection.com to get update alerts for our website, please visit the notifications page again and re-register. Unfortunately, I goofed. When I set up the form to submit the ChangeDetection.com registration, I targeted the home page instead of the news and events page. Since ChangeDetection.com (annoyingly) only monitors the one page you... Continue Reading →
