Our landscaper, Landscape Management of Irmo, has indicated that summer annuals will be installed at the front entrance soon. The goal is to get them in by Friday, May 11.
Pine straw is also scheduled to be installed at the front entrance, park, and rear entrance soon. The goal was to get this in before Mother’s Day, but the sub-contractor has hit some delays.
The weeds in the lower park bed continue to be a problem due water draining in that direction and the stickiness of the soil. A lot of construction material (i.e. mostly cement mix) was dumped in that area during build out of the community. The landscaper will spray these with an herbicide before the pine straw is applied.
