What Happened to the July Yard of the Month?

If you’ve been tracking our yard of the month awards, you probably noticed we skipped July. 

Our July winner declined the award.

To be frank, life got busy and I was very late getting out to present the July award.  The declination by the July winner added more delay because we needed to qualify and vote on another winner.  By then, we were well into August.

We decided to skip July entirely and pick up with the next award in August (which I delivered today).  Since we intended to present four awards this summer, we will extend the yard of the month into September.
